It appears that we have a semi-circle joined to a triangle

The radius of the semi-circle  = 8 .... so its area = (1/2)*pi *(radius^2) = (1/2)pi(8^2)  = 32pi cm^2

And the triangle has a base of 16 and a height of 12...so its area =

(1/2)(base)(height)  = (1/2)(16)(12) = 96 cm^2

So.....the total area =   [ 32 pi + 96 ] cm^2  = about 195.5 cm^2
