Let the line p be the perpendicular bisector of  A = (24, 7) and B = (3,4). Given that AB meets p at C = (x,y), what is 2x - 4y?

Midpoint of AB  = (27/2,11/2)

Slope = (7 - 4)/(24 - 3) = 3/21 = 1/7

y - 11/2 = 1/7*(x - 27/2), y - 4 = 7(x - 3)

(x,y) = (13/2,5/2)

2x - 4y = 3
