So this is the formula for the graph: N(t) = 2500 + 2t^4

t = Amount of hours

Question: What's the growth rate when t = 5?

What would N'(5) become in this case?

I'm getting it to N'(5) = 134 (8*5^3) but my book tells me the answer is 1000.

For the function  N(t)  =  2500 + 2t4,

                          N'(t)  =  8t3

                  so    N'(5)  =  8·53  =  8·125  =  1000
