This is not possible, because gf(x) is of degree 3, not 2.

 

But if gf(x) really means g(f(x)), then this problem is solvable.

 

\(g(f(x)) = 3(f(x) - 1) = 3((x + 2)^2 - 1) = 3(x^2 + 4x + 3)\)
