The area of the larger triangle   is  (1/2) (base) * (height )  =  (1/2)(10) * (6)    = 30 cm^2

The area of the smaller  triangle is :   (1/2) (base ) ( height)  =  (1/2) (4)(4)  = 8 cm^2

So...the area beween these triangles   =   30 - 8  =   22 cm^2

So....

P( inside larger triangle and outside smaller triangle)  =

area between triangles / area of larger triangle  =

 22 / 30  =  11 / 15
