-0.75 x (-12) = -3/4 x (-12)

Since -0.75 is basically -3/4, the equations answer would be the same if the equation was: 3/4 x 12

But:

3/4 x 12 = 9, because 3/4 of 12 is 9(This is the same answer for -3/4 x 12)

To write it out in order to find the answer, you would do the following:

(-3/4) * (-12) =

or

-7.5 * (-12)

You can plug the above straight into a calculator to get the answer you seek.

I think you mean (-.75) not (-7.5) -3/4 doesn't equal -7.5 User.
