I am finding percent change for decrease w/ rounding to the nearest percent.39 seconds to 13 seconds what is the answer?

Whether it is increase or decrease it is usually done the same way.

you find the difference by subtracting

then you divide by the ORIGINAL PRICE.

Then you multiply by 100

26/39 × 100      percent
