3 / 3^3 = [3] / [ 3 * 3 * 3] = one 3 cancels on top/bottom = 1 / [ 3 * 3] = 1 / 9

Wait... Why would there still be a one on top?
Because, we can always multiply either the top/bottom of any fraction by 1 without changing it's value....so.......3 = 1 * 3 ......so.......
[1 * 3] / [ 3 * 3 * 3] = [1 ] / [3 * 3] = 1/9
