f(x)=-2x-5 for x=3

i'm not entirely sure, but i think it'd be this:

f(x)= -2x-5 for x=3

f(3)= -2(3)-5  (substitute 3 for x, then solve -2 times 3)

     = -6 -5  (add them up)

     = -11  (yeah)
