Like the title states, I figured out how to prove ABCD is a rectangle, I just don't know how to find the area

Find  the  distance  from  B to C  =  sqrt  [ (47 - 16)^2  +  (34 - 16)^2 ]  =     (1)

Then....find   the distance  from A  to B  =  sqrt  [ (16 - 8)^2  +  ( 34 - 20)^2 ]  =  (2)

Take  the  product  of  BC * AB  =    (1)  * (2)     =   the area

Let  me know  if you get stuck ......

Thanks! I managed to get 592.5, but I'm not sure if it's correct...

After redoing it, I got 576.38...

sqrt  [ (47 - 16)^2   + (34 - 16)^2  ]  =  sqrt  [ 31^2  + 18^2]  =  sqrt  [ 1285 ]

sqrt  [ (16 - 8)^2  + (34 - 20)^2 ]  =  sqrt  [ 8^2  + 14^2]  =  sqrt [ 260]

sqrt [ 1285 ] * sqrt [ 260]  =

sqrt [ 1285 * 260]   =

sqrt  [ 334100]   ≈    578.01   units^2
