6x  =  5           Raise both sides of this equation to the power of 3

( 6x )3   =   53           Simplify the left side using the rule  ( xa )b  =   xab   and simplify the right side.

63x   =  125           Multiply both sides of the equation by  62

63x  ·  62  =  125 · 62           Simplify the left side using the rule  xa · xb  =  xa+b   and simplify the right side.

63x+2  =  4500
