4+5-7*9/3

 

I tried PEMDAS, but I'm not sure.

 

Honestly, this is supposed to be a problem for 3rd graders, and I feel ashamed to have difficulty on this.

4+5-7*9/3

 

first according to pemdas you multiply, so you will have-

 

4+5-21

 

now all that's left is addition and subtraction, so go in order, which ever comes first. Next, 4+5 which will give us-

 

9-21

 

now just subtract and you get 

 

-12
