We need to have (52)(48)
It's obvious that x must be < 52....because,if not, ...... y is positive.... and adding them together would produce more than 52
So x must either be 50 or 48
Notice that if x = 50 and y = 2, we have
(50 + 2) (50 - 2) =
(52) (48) !!!!
