I have a very specific number I'm fascinated by -- I won't go into specifics, but I'm trying to find if occurs anywhere in nature. Is it a transcendental? Is it the products of primes? Is it a special number of any sort? More importantly - are there any functions that yield this exact series of digits? Can anyone find some function of smaller numbers that yield it... for example the log,e of 674 gets you close.
