\(-\frac{1}{2}(7z+4)+\frac{1}{5}(5z-15)\)

First, let's use the distributive property

We get

\(-\frac{7}{2}z-2+z-3\)

I like using decimals, so this simplifies to

\(-3.5z-2+z-3\)

Now, let's just evaluate

\(-2.5z-5\)

That's the answer
