Points T and U are on circle K such that K is 2 units from TU. If TU = 14, what is the radius of the circle?

I don't know if this is exactly right, but I think the radius is 6.

Assuming K  is  the  center.....if  we  bisect TU  at  M   we  get  that   TM  =  UM  =  7

And  KMU  = KMT   are  congruent right triangles....so  ...looking at one of these

KT  =  the  radius   and  hypotenuse

KM   is  a  leg =  2

TM is  another  leg  =  7

The  radius  =    sqrt ( 2^2  + 7^2)  =  sqrt  ( 4 + 49)  = sqrt (53)

cool cool cool
