i'm doing a power point on climate change and I have a graph that lists CO2 emissions by Kiloton. I live in America and my class will not know what Kilotons are. I would like to convert the kilotons into metric tons into pounds. The number of Kiltons is 29,888,121 kT. To my knowledge the number of metric tons would be 29,888,121,000. As for pounds, I found that 1 Metric ton is 2204.64 pounds. So if I multiply 29,888,121,000 by 2204.64, I should get the correct number of pounds. Right?
