I  need help asap if a tree stands 15ft high its shadow  is 5 and 1/2 ft long  a man 6 ft tall stands near the tree what would be the length is the mans shadow to the nearest foot

The ratios will be the equal

 

\(\dfrac{16}{\frac{11}{2}} = \dfrac{6}{\ell}\\ 16 \ell = 33\\ \ell = \dfrac{33}{16} = 2 ~ft \text{ to the nearest foot}\)
