what is f=9\5c+32 convert to -40c

Well.... you will likely find that at   -40 C     the temp is  also -40 F   !

I  believe that you want  to convert -40C to  F

 

So we have

 

F = (9/5)(-40) + 32 =  (-72) + 32   =   - 40F

 

[ Interesting that it is exactly the same  !!!  ]
