The ratio of measures of two complementary angles is 4 to 5. The smallest measure is increased by 10%. By what percent must the larger measure be decreased so that the two angles remain complementary?

4/[4+5] x 90 = 40 degrees

40 x 1.10 =44 degrees

90 - 44 = 46 degrees - the other angle.

1 - 46/50 =8% - decrease in the 2nd angle.
