i need help with a math problem: find the distance between points (2,2) and (-2,5) tp the nearest tenth.
i have no idea how to figuer it out!!!!!! i have a test monday
(2,2) (-2,5)
First, subtract the x coordinates....order doesn't matter...so we have
-2-2 = -4
Square this (-4) ^2 = 16
Now do the same proceedure with the y coordinates...again, order doesn't matter
5-2 = 3
3^2 = 9
Add the 16 and the 9 = 25
Now....take the square root of this
√25 = 5 ....and that's the distance between the points......!!!
