Solve: -4(2x - 1) = -6(x + 2) - 2

-4(2x - 1) = -6(x + 2) - 2

-4*(2x - 1) = -6*(x + 2) - 2

-4*2x - -4*1 = -6*x + -6*2 -2

-8x + 4 = -6x -12 -2

-8x + 4 = -6x -14

now add 6x to both sides
then subtract 4 from both sides
then divide both sides by the number in front of the x
then it will be finished.
