So I need to create a word problem but it's very hard.
My equation is 6(1/2x+3)=7(5)-2.
i think it is like this but i am not too sure.
6(1/2x+3) =7(5)-2
6*1/2(x)=3x 7*5=35
6*3=18 35-2=33
so:
6(1/2x+3)=3x+18 7(5)-2=33
3x+18=33
take 18 from both sides:
3x=15
divide both sides by 3
x=5
