y = a(x - 4)(x + 3) = a(x^2 - x - 12)

Plug in the point (3, -12)

-12 = a(9 - 3 - 12)

-12 = -6a

a = 2

y = 2(x^2 - x - 12) = 2x^2 - 2x - 24
