The angle of depression from the top of the smaller tower to the base of the larger tower is 27o. Determine the height of the larger office tower to the nearest tenth of a metre.

Find out how far apart they are tan 27 = 40/d d = 78.5 m

Then the height above the 40 m building is tan21 = height /78.5

height above 40 m = 30.133 m

and add the 40 m height to this = ~~ 70.1 m
