Two buildings are 200m apart. From a point midway between them, the angles of elevation to the top of each building are 12o and 9o respectively. To the nearest tenth, how much taller is one building compared to the other?

I think that is supposed to be 12o   and  9 o

For one building  tan 9  = height1 / 100

for the other building   tan 12 = height2 /100       Now you should be able to find their heights and the difference.....
