A camp counselor needs no more than 30 campers to sign up for two mountain hikes. The counsler needs at least 10 campers on the low train and at least 5 campers on the high trail. Write a system of inequalites to model the situation, graph, and solve.

I have tried a lot of different things and I can tell they dont work because I end up with decimals which cant be correct, so I really need your help.

l = # of low terrain campers

h = # of high trail campers

$$l + h \le 30.$$

$$l \ge 10.$$

$$h \ge 5.$$

See graph: https://www.desmos.com/calculator/evwqbnqf46 [Inspect the right triangle region].

Note the intersection at (10,20).

So, you could have 10 low terrain campers and 20 high trail campers

OR

15 low terrain campers and 10 high trail campers

OR

other combinations!
