In pentagon PQRST, angle P = 60 and angle Q = 130. Angle S and T are each 3 times as large as angle R. What are the measures of angle S, T, and R? Which 2 sides of the pentagon are parallel?

The sum of the interior angles of a pentagon  = 540°

Call the measure of angle R , x     ..... so S and T  measure 3x each  .....and we have

60 + 130 + x + 2 * 3x  = 540

190 + 7x = 540     subtract 190 from both sides

7x =  350     divide by 7

x = 50°  = R

And S,T measure 3x  = 150°

[Sorry.....I do not know how to determine the parallel sides......!!!   ]
