6x10 to the 6th and 2x10 to the 4th If I could get a walkthrough it would be appreciated

6x10 to the 6th simply means that you move the decimal on 6 six places to the right, making it 6000000. The same idea is used for 2x10 to the 4th. Move the decimal on the 2, four places to the right, making it 20000. If the exponent is negative, the decimal place is moved to the left.
