Ryan had some blue and green buttons. 3/7 of the buttons are blue and the rest were green. He gave away 2/5 of his buttons. 80 of the buttons given away were blue. 2/3 of the buttons left were green. How many buttons did Ryan have altogether at first?

You have to tackle it a bit at a time.

3/7 were blue.  So what fraction was green?

That is the first bit.

It is tricky but draw a 4*4 grid

The top left corner is blank

the heading in the top boxes are blue, green, total

the headings down the left side are kept, given, total

The bottom right-hand box will be the total number of buttons.

Now try filling it in, some will be fractions and some numbers but you can then work out the numbers from the fractions later.

Bruh you got that from Melody and what that person said made no sense so I always keep on spamming this question. The grid thing makes no sense.

Hannah is trying to help, but also plagiarizing without citing, next time she should say that this is Melodies work, but she still has good intentions guest
