IDK how to solve this problem!HELP THIS IS DUE IN LIKE TWENTY MINUTES!!!!!

30= -6(k+4)    divide both sides by -6

-5 = k + 4     subtract 4 from both sides

-9  = k

30 = -6(k+4)

you first solve the parentheses

30 = -6k -24

add 24 to both sides

54=-6k

divide each side by -6

-9 = k
