whats the 18th term of a1 = -2; d = -3???

an = a1  + d(n -1)      where n is the nth term and d is the common difference between terms...so we have....

a18  =  -2 +  -3(18 - 1)  =  - 2 - 3(17)   =   -2 - 51  =   -53
