3x over m-nx equals 2 then x=?

(3x)/(m-nx) = 2   Multiply both sides by m-nx

3x = 2(m - nx)     distribute the 2 on the right

3x = 2m - 2nx      add 2nx to both sides

3x + 2nx = 2m     factor out x on the left

x(3 + 2n) = 2m    divide by 3 + 2n on both sides

x = 2m/(3 +2n)

Hey....I didn't say it was gonna' pretty, did I???

$$\\x=\dfrac{2m}{3+2n}\\\\\\
x=\dfrac{2m}{3*\dfrac{2}{2}+2n}\\\\\\
x=\dfrac{\not{2}m}{\not{2}*\left( \dfrac{3}{2}+n\right)}\\\\\\
\boxed{x=\dfrac{m}{ 1.5+n} }$$
