if 5% is 14.8

then

100% is x

x=(100*14.8)/5

x=$${\frac{\left({\mathtt{100}}{\mathtt{\,\times\,}}{\mathtt{14.8}}\right)}{{\mathtt{5}}}} = {\mathtt{296}}$$

If 5% is 14.80 then

1% would be 14.80/5

and

100% must be  100*14.80/5

Here's another way to figure this without using much math....

100% is 20 times 5%

So....what is 20 times $14.80.....???
