if 5x+3=-2 what does x equal

5x + 3 = -2

5x      = -2  -3

5x      =   -5

x        =  -1

that is simple case dr.....

5x + 3 = 2

   -3       -3

  5x = -1

 divide by 5 from each side

  x = -0.2
