If 9(x-9)- -11 then x? (Not sure if the first dash is suppose to be an equal question!)  "-92/9" "-20/9" "-11/9" "-2/9" "70/9"

9*(x - 9) = -11

 

Divide both sides by 9

x - 9 = -11/9

 

Add 9 to both sides

x = 9 - 11/9

 

Since we can write 9 as 81/9 we have

x = 81/9 - 11/9 = (81 - 11)/9 = 70/9
