if A bicycle tire has a radius of 8 inches, how many revolutions will it take to go 62.8 feet?

The circumference  =  2pi (8)   =  16 pi inches

And 62.8 ft  =  62.8 (12)   = 753.6 inches

So....

The revolutions  =    753.6  /  ( 16 pi )  ≈  15 revs
