If a woodchuck chucked wood at a rate of 23 pieces of wood over 10 hours. Then the woodchuck smoked some magic moss and chucked wood at 5 times the rate for the next 5 hours. How much wood did the woodchuck chuck over 15 hours?

23/10= 2.3 pieces per hour (on average)

2.3 x 5 = 11.5 pieces per hour (after magic moss)

11.5 x 5= 57.5 pieces of wood for the five hours after magic moss.

  57.5

+23.0      (23 is the amount of wood for the next 10 hours)

_____

80.5 pieces of wood in the 15 hours after magic moss!

Thanks!! That was a really fun problem!

(Sorry if I'm wrong)
