So...you don't get paid for [5 x 1/2] hrs = 2.5 hrs out of every 40

So we have

(40 - 2.5) *(15) = 37.5 * 15 = $562.50   ...  just as Anonymous found...

Assume the 8 working hrs are inclueded with the 30 mins lunch break , the total paid working hrs are 7.5, you work for 5 days a week with $15 per hr , so you should get 7.5x$15x5=$562.5
