if it tells you to find the solution of the problem for graphing what would the solutions be?

If you're talking about the solution to two linear equations...it's where their graphs intersect.....  [ if they do !!!  ]

I should add that the graphs don't necessarily have to be linear, either....   We could have a line intersecting a parabola, etc.......
