If n=12 and C=10 how do I plug it into Combination formula nCr=n!/[(n-r)!*r!] and do it out by hand? I can plug the numbers in but have no idea where to go from there

I think you got it in reverse!! Maybe it should read n=12 and r=10, then you have: 12C10=[n!/[(n-r)!*r!]=

12!/ [12 -10]! .10!=66.

Whoops typo, I meant r=10. I know the answer is 66, how do I show the work by hand without a calculator?

Like this: [12 x 11 x 10 x 9........x 1] / [2 x 1 x 10 x 9 x 8 x 7.......x 1] =66
