The image of triangle ABC is rotated 180 degrees to image A’B’C’ about the origin. If point A is located at (-1,-2), then name the coordinates of A’. Be sure that your answer is in (x,y) notation with no spaces.

A. (6,1)

B. (-3,-2)

C. (1,2)

D. (-2,5)

First  one :

Coordinates  of  A '   =  (1,2)

Second one :

Coordinates of B '  = (2, 5)

Third  one :

Coordinates  of C'   = (4, -3)

Note  that the  rule for a 180°  rotation  seems to  be :

(x , y)  ⇒  ( -x, - y)
