if someone jumped 3 inches farther than someone but together jumped 20 ft, how far did each jump??? HHEELLLPP MEE....

20 feet is   20 x 12 = 240 inches

One jumper jumped 3 inches farther   240 - 3 = 237  how far they both would have jumped

237/2 = 118.5        for the Short Jumper    118.5 + 3 = 121.5 for the Long Jumper

20/2=10

One jump 1.5 inches less = 9'10.5"

And the other 1.5 inches more = 10'1.5"
