If x to the power of -3 equals to 1 over 64, what is x?

x-3  = 1/(x3)

So

1/(x3) = 1/64         and if two fractions are equal, their reciprocals are also equal

So

x3 = 64         take the cube root of both sides

x = (64)1/3 = 4
