Imagine you are standing 250 feet from the Burj Khalifa in Dubai. You look up to the top of the building at a 73 degree angle. Use the correct trigonometric ratio to find the height of the Burj Khalifa.  can sb tell the answer or explain

We  know  the  adjacent side to  the  angle=   250

And we are looking for the opposite  side

We need the  tangent....so.....

 

tan  73°  =  opp / 250

 

250 * tan 73° =  opp  ≈  817.7  ft
