Let b be the second term....so we have.....

3,  b,  3 + b, 3 + 2b, 6 + 3b

And the last term is equal to 3 ...so.....

6 + 3b = 3

3b = -3     →   b = -1

And ths series is :

3, -1, 2, 1, 3
