Have to make certain assumptions:

without replacement, order doesn't matter

The first letter can be selected from 26, the second from 25, etc

results in 7893600 combinations, I think.

We have 26 letters and we want to choose any 5 of them.....this is given by the combination......

C(26,5)  = 65,780  ways.... (different sets)

Mine counts all the different sets.....Anonymous' counts total ways......since both words are used in the question.....take your pick....

I used this "formula".........

C(26,5)  = 26! / [ (26 - 5)! (5)! ]
