Is (-2,3) a solution of the following algebraic equation?
3x + 5y = 9
Substitute -2 for x and 3 for y in the equation...so we have
3(-2) + 5(3) = 9 ???
Is this true???....If so, then (-2, 3) is a solution.....!!!!
3(-2)+5(3)=9
-6+15=9
9=9 it is a solution
