l 2x - 1 l   > 5       

 

We have two equations

 

2x - 1 > 5             and           - (2x - 1 ) > 5

2x > 6                                     -2x + 1 > 5

x > 3                                       -2x >  4

                                                  x < - 2

 

I  and II   will make this inequality true
