What is infinity divided by infinity?

It is undefined.  (Unless you have more information)

Here is an example of why.

 

   \(\displaystyle \lim_{x\rightarrow \infty} 2x=\infty\\ \displaystyle \lim_{x\rightarrow \infty} 3x=\infty\\ BUT\\ \displaystyle \lim_{x\rightarrow \infty} \frac{2x}{3x}=\frac{2}{3}\)

you can set up a ratio such that both numerator and denominator both go to infinity 

yet the ratio has any finite value you like.
